My day of pride for my youngest daughter Elle and her achievements. My personal thanks to everyone who has supported me to give her the finest education, the greatest gift of Northampton High School.
Does taking a six year old to Italy to see the wonderful art and history of Florence and Rome influence them and their learning interests?
Here a video of my six year old Elle in 1999 telling me about a dream she had on this trip showing her creative imagination and speaking innocently about her experiences has been uncovered.
Cut now to 2011, Elle has been awarded two subject prizes from Northampton High School UK as the most outstanding student in two subjects, one in Politics, the other Classical Civilization, the latter being the subject of her studies at Leeds’s University.
Makes you think that maybe her Italian visit gave her a life direction, and such opportunities exist for many children to follow their dreams just needs enthusiasm, recognition and dedication. We shall see……………..
