Today I received a lovely poem from my friend Sharon who is in New York
“I’m late, I’m late for a very important date”. And that quote, as you know, is from
Lewis Carroll. And I am late although I am not sure it is all that important.
I wrote this poem for Myrea and myself.
I call it
“Believe”
The charm of a child, the wiles of the world,
to innocently follow, in the wake of a pearl
dashed by a moment, deep in the sea
a mermaid releases one onus “believe”.
